ABOUT

Emily Van Driessen

Who’s Emily?

Emily Van Driessen (°1995, BE) is an independent writer, curator, and art mediator. She works at the intersection of language and contemporary visual arts, creating art projects in both intimate and large-scale contexts.

Her mission is to bring contemporary art to a wide audience in ways that are engaging, inclusive, and far from predictable — ranging from writing about art to curating public exhibitions, hosting private art evenings for businesses, and creating one-on-one journeys with clients to build their collections.

She works with visual and audiovisual artists to explore new ways of presenting and contextualising work, with a focus on experimental exhibitions and interventions beyond the traditional gallery space.

Her projects involve artists, galleries, corporate partners, and art organisations in Belgium and abroad, with a current focus on Belgium and the Netherlands. She lives and works in Antwerp.
